Believer's often forget the purpose of our trials is to fashion and shape us for future situations. We think, "this is so hard", and we don't see the outcome or benefits. Every single trial, hardship, or sorrowful event, is shaping us, preparing us for a bigger, more valuable event in the future. It's like when Jesus told the people, "He who has been forgiven little, loves little, and he who has been forgiven much, loves much". And if you are not responsible with little, how can you be expected to responsible with much more (parable of the talents)? Trials prepare us for bigger and better things. Learn to take them as teaching points in your life. Allow them to fashion you into a person of Godly character. So when the time comes of greater testing, you will come out as pure gold.
5 “If racing against mere men makes you tired, how will you race against horses? If you stumble and fall on open ground, what will you do in the thickets near the Jordan?
Jeremiah 12:5
