I’ve always said, “humble yourself, so that others won’t have to”. It’s examining ourselves, judging ourselves, seeing if we are in a right standing with God. When we do this, God is pleased. I don’t have this “life” thing figured out, but I do know Who does. And when He tells me to examine myself, for whatever reason, I’d better examine myself. Keeping in tune with God, allows us to play sweet music with with the instrument our life.
31 But if we would examine ourselves, we would not be judged by God in this way. 32 Yet when we are judged by the Lord, we are being disciplined so that we will not be condemned along with the world.
1 Corinthians 11:31-32
