Can you imagine an angel coming to you and telling you that “you are precious to God”? It’s exactly what Gabriel did to Daniel in chapter 9 of his book. Imagine the overwhelming love he felt when he heard those words? How would you feel? We have been given even better news then that. When Jesus died on the cross, and said, “it is finished”, it’s just like He said to the repented believer, “you are precious to Me, so much so, I died for you to prove it”. Wow! How this makes you feel is in direct correlation with the condition of your heart. Any one in the right relationship with God, feels comfort, elation, and loved. Those that take this for granted or blow it off, need some form of perspective adjustment. Never take for granted the Good News of the Gospel, it’s our constant source of guidance, proper perspective, and self-worth. Knowing we are precious to God changes everything. Now go out there and act like it.
23 The moment you began praying, a command was given. And now I am here to tell you what it was, for you are very precious to God. Listen carefully so that you can understand the meaning of your vision.
