Here’s s passage to help you understand that the Christian faith is a personal one, a journey of discover based on your individual desire to know God. You can believe what people say or you can do the research, the hard work, and find out for yourself. A true, sincere pursuit of God involves spending time reading His Word, researching what you don’t understand. This hard work shows God the true condition of your heart. It shows Him He is important. Once you do the hard work, deeper intimacy with Him follows. If I could give the Bible and it’s message a nickname, I would call it, “THE TRUTH SETS YOU FREE WHEN YOU MAKE IT YOUR OWN”. Take it personally, God would have it no other way.
25 Some of the people who lived in Jerusalem started to ask each other, “Isn’t this the man they are trying to kill? 26 But here He is, speaking in public, and they say nothing to Him. Could our leaders possibly believe that He is the Messiah? 27 But how could He be? For we know where this man comes from.
