If our goal in life is to get rich, our priorities are not in the right place. Wealth does not make us happy, it only distracts and complicates life. According to this proverb, you’ll wear yourself out pursuing riches, and miss out on what your true treasure really is.
4 Don’t wear yourself out trying to get rich. Be wise enough to know when to quit. 5 In the blink of an eye wealth disappears, for it will sprout wings and fly away like an eagle.
