Wealth has a way of turning our focus solely onto ourselves. We think having “means” allows us the opportunity to say “NO” to God. How many people do you know when they came into money became better, deeper, followers of Christ? Do you think money makes you happy for the rest of your life, taking away all your worries? Job knew where his riches came from. He knew where they went when his trials came. God is the source of LIFE. It’s only in Him, that we find true fulfillment. It’s only in Him that we find true security. It’s only in having that right relationship with Him that we are truly rich.
