This proverb isn’t a guaranteed, one-time duty. It’s a way of life. When we lose ourselves in pursuing God, striving to be like Him (not becoming God), our focus brings life. Peace, security, confidence, and completeness follow. Trusting God is a daily, moment by moment action. It’s a lifestyle, a worldview, that determines our attitude as we find the path to go on. Regardless what road we are currently on, seeking God’s heart determines how effective our witness will be. When our will is to please God, we won’t fail. The road to success is paved upon God’s will, and by choosing it, we guarantee our arrival destination. When we choose To glorify God instead of “tooting our own horn”, we will always win.
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding.6 Seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.
Proverbs 3:5-6
