The ultimate outcome of evil for the one driven by rebellious desire is the plans of violence will fall back upon their own head. You reap what you sow. Do good, good follows. Do evil, you eventually fall into your own trap. Think about hatred, or violence, or unforgiveness; it controls the the one holding on so tightly. It’s a prison created by themselves, for themselves. Kinda gives a new meaning to Jesus’ words about being “set free”, doesn’t it? Evil is self-destructive. It’s another reason why God hates it so much.
14 The wicked conceive evil;they are pregnant with trouble and give birth to lies.15 They dig a deep pit to trap others, then fall into it themselves.16 The trouble they make for others backfires on them. The violence they plan falls on their own heads. 17 I will thank the Lord because He is just; I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.
Psalms 7:14-17
