You Can’t Give What You Don’t Possess….

If I were asked “what’s the one thing wrong with the world today?”, I would answer people have forgotten, or don’t know how to love. If love comes from God, and love fulfills God’s commandments, then why aren’t we putting it into action? Why aren’t we loving our neighbor? It’s because we have abandoned God as a society. If you abandon God, you abandon the source of true/real love. You can’t give what you don’t possess. Ask Him today to give you a glimpse of what true love looks like. Then pursue it with all of your heart. When you do, you will begin to be filled up. For real love has no limits.

8 Owe nothing to anyone–except for your obligation to love one another. If you love your neighbor, you will fulfill the requirements of God’s law. 9 For the commandments say, “You must not commit adultery. You must not murder. You must not steal. You must not covet.” These–and other such commandments–are summed up in this one commandment: “Love your neighbor as yourself.” 10 Love does no wrong to others, so love fulfills the requirements of God’s law.
