You will never hear God say, “Oooops” or “My bad”, or “Sorry, my mistake”. You will never hear Him apologize for messing things up. He is in control. He knows what He’s doing. And He does everything for a reason. He’s never randomly doing things as if He’s trying to make the best of a situation. He is the best situation. God is sovereign. And He has a believer’s best interest at heart, even if it doesn’t seem like it. He’s worthy of our trust. In fact when we fully trust Him with our lives, we need not be afraid.
3 But I will gather together the remnant of My flock from the countries where I have driven them. I will bring them back to their own sheepfold, and they will be fruitful and increase in number. 4 Then I will appoint responsible shepherds who will care for them, and they will never be afraid again. Not a single one will be lost or missing. I, the Lord have spoken!
