In our modern world, believers need to stand up and call out those that show no respect. We are to pray for them, show them the cause of their behavior, and point them towards God. If we don’t, who will? Part of living out the Gospel is loving others enough to tell them the truth. People will realize this when they actually see true, Godly love being lived out. And part of living it out is showing people what love and respect looks like, a lost art in modern society today. Ask God to help you be the light people need to see.
16 The Lord Himself has scattered them, and He no longer helps them. People show no respect for the priests and no longer honor the leaders.
