Common Sense Isn’t Common Anymore…

The older I get the more I find myself saying, “common sense isn’t common anymore”. People seemed to have dumbed down. I mean preachers saying, “amen and awoman” at the end of prayers. Not being able to call people “he or she”. Being told to call a boy a girl’s name because he identifies himself as a girl, even though his name is a still a boy’s name on the roster. This is a no-brained, common sense issue, but yet we are prejudiced or bigoted, if we respond with common sense. The reason people have sunken to this level is because they’ve decided to abandon God in their lives. It’s only through God that common sense and wisdom are given. Without Him, common sense isn’t so common.

For the Lord grants wisdom! From His mouth come knowledge and understanding.7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest.He is a shield to those who walk with integrity.8 He guards the paths of the justand protects those who are faithful to Him. 9 Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair,and you will find the right way to go.10 For wisdom will enter your heart,and knowledge will fill you with joy.11 Wise choices will watch over you.Understanding will keep you safe. 12 Wisdom will save you from evil people,from those whose words are twisted. Proverbs 2:6-12
