Just imagine if our leaders in America based their decisions on God’s Word? I wonder how different living here would be? I guarantee it would be more respectful. There would be more personal responsibility. There would be more freedom, but with restraint. There would be more unity. Of course there would still be sin, but we would be more sensitive to sin, so that most people would police themselves with accountability to God first. God’s ways are best, and until believers understand this, we are no different from those who live life solely for themselves. We must base our rescuing on God’s word. There is no alternative for the believer.
