Never Blend In….

One thing about God that we must never lose sight of us His Holiness. He is set apart. He is set apart for a reason. He is different from all other living beings. And when we are commanded to be holy because He is Holy, we must obey. We are set apart from the world. We are to behave differently, be different, and react differently from the ways of the world. When we do this, people take notice, they are intrigued (at least those that have the capability of knowing God). When Paul talked about this in the book of Ephesians, he told us to put off the old way of life, and put on the new. It’s like after getting clean from a long shower, why would you want to put on your filthy clothes when you’ve been given brand new, clean clothes? You wouldn’t. Our standard to follow is Jesus, Who is the living God. If He tells us to be different from the world, and gives us the desires to do so, why in the world would we not listen, and continue to be like the world? Being holy means you are set apart for God’s purpose. It’s to be different, to stand out by living your life emulating Jesus. Once you renew your mind and change your thinking patterns to make this a reality, you’ll guarantee one thing, you will never blend in, and go unnoticed with the world.

And this is the basic law of the Temple: absolute holiness! Ezekiel 43:12a
