The one thing about popularity that people often miss is that it doesn't last. People seek it out thinking it will satisfy something deep down inside, and when that popularity comes, it proves its deception in that it doesn't deliver what's expected. It doesn't deliver "the goods". Instead we should be seeking God's acceptance, His approval, His praise. Our goal is to be popular with God. It delivers what it's supposed to. And we get more from it than we ever could've imagined.
6 As for human praise, we have never sought it from you or anyone else.
