Sometimes, God provides just enough light to see to take the next step. We look up and see complete darkness, and think "how am I going to do this? I can't see far in front of me". Then we just have to focus on the short distance right in front, just enough to take the next step. We can focus on the darkness and be scared, or we can trust our Redeemer, and take the next step, securely knowing He's in control and has our best interest at heart. It's a choice we must make every single day of our lives. Some will be more difficult than others, but we can have full confidence in the fact that God doesn't break His promises.
105 Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path.
