Although the world fights against God, doing anything and everything to discourage or punish those who believe in Him, it doesn’t realize the only true peace anyone will ever have, comes from being right with The One with Whom they are in rebellion with. Oh, the irony. The world would rather stumble around in search of pseudo-peace, then side with the One from Whom true peace can only be obtained. Peace isn’t a free gift, it costs you your pride. Only when you decide peace is more valuable than being self-centered, then pursuing God will be possible, and you may begin to experience true peace.
165 Those who love Your instructions have great peace and do not stumble.
Psalms 119:165
