Greed, lust, and worldly love are just a few of our selfish pursuits. They all lead to inner turmoil, that ends up affecting others. And the end result is fighting and dissension among all involved. A lot of the time, greed bleeds over affecting many, many others who are not even involved. What’s the solution? Being grounded in God’s ways. Being accountable to the One Who determines our fate. Living in the freedom of Grace. Knowing our limits. The Bible calls it “fear of the Lord”. This leads to life.
25 Greed causes fighting;trusting the Lord leads to prosperity.
