As believers we are to point others to Jesus. As I like to call us, moonshiners, reflecting the light of the SON. Our job is to live our life in such a way, that others see our behavior and actions and thank God for helping take care of them. We are cracked pots full of God’s light, shining through the broken spaces into the lives of others. People will see more of God working in our lives if we allow others to see our brokenness rather than if we only try to show our smooth sculpted sections. Never forget that. It’s God’s way of revealing Himself to others in our humility. It’s our realization of our need for Him and the receptiveness of our hearts that help make us useful to God, blessing others. And light is more easily seen in dirty air.
16 In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.
Matthew 5:16
