You’ve read the scripture “faith without works is dead”, but do you really know what that means? Are works required for salvation? Can we earn God’s favor by what we do? Is practicing religion pleasing to God? I think John the Baptist makes it clear here. Works can’t earn God’s Grace. They are only a response to already receiving it.
8 Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God.
