Who can stand in God’s Holy Place? The Bible says those whose hands and hearts are pure. Those who do not worship idols. Those who never tell lies. Does this sound like you? Certainly doesn’t sound like me. How can anyone say they qualify for these requirements? Sounds impossible. How then can we draw near to God? Through the admittance, acknowledgement, and repentance of your sin. It’s only through the Blood of the Lamb that we can be made right with God. It’s as if when God looks at us, He sees Jesus. That’s what it means to be saved. When we are forgiven, God sees us as “Justified”. Just if I’d never sinned. That’s something we can focus on every day and give God our gratitude for. It’s because Jesus fulfilled the requirements of the law that we can stand in God’s Holy Place.
Who may climb the mountain of the Lord?Who may stand in His holy place?4 Only those whose hands and hearts are pure, who do not worship idols and never tell lies.5 They will receive the Lord’s blessing and have a right relationship with God their savior. 6 Such people may seek You and worship in Your presence, O God of Jacob.
