It’s really easy to take some of the precepts of the Bible, adopt an attitude, and turn it into a legalistic one. We are all sinners. The foot of the cross is level ground. Just because we don’t hang out with perpetual liars, doesn’t mean we need to use them to compare ourselves with, and adopt a legalistic, superior attitude. Be careful how you go about labeling those that don’t see eye to eye with you. God knows our hearts; He’s more concerned with the condition of it than what we might think about it.
1 Declare me innocent, O Lord, for I have acted with integrity;I have trusted in the Lord without wavering.2 Put me on trial, Lord, and cross-examine me.Test my motives and my heart.3 For I am always aware of Your unfailing love, and I have lived according to Your truth.4 I do not spend time with liarsor go along with hypocrites.5 I hate the gatherings of those who do evil, and I refuse to join in with the wicked.6 I wash my hands to declare my innocence.I come to Your altar, O Lord,
