Respect and Self-Restraint....

A symptom of a Godless society is how parents are being treated. When respect for authority, specifically parental authority, is undermined, disrespect for all authority will follow. Along side disrespect, rides it’s brother, self-restraint. The lack of self-restraint, the inability to keep your mouth shut 🤐, leads to conflict. This ultimately leads to ruin. Liberty and responsibility, the two pillars of the “American Way”, will collapse if both are not in proper balance. Abuse one, the other grows. Creating an unfixable problem. Neglect the other, society eventually collapses. Do you see a disrespect for authority in America today? Do you see a lack of self-restraint? The balance is shifting towards the Liberty side of the “American Way” equation. Soon it will be past the point of restoration. What’s the fix? What will bring back respect for authority? What will balance out liberty and responsibility? There’s only one answer: the proper view of God. He is the One to Whom we are ultimately responsible. Until we do something about that, our liberties will continue to fight it out in the courts until we implode with anarchy.
