Here is a proverb for America in 2019. I wish someone would tweet this and watch it go viral. I’ve always told myself that the only way to handle criticism is to listen, weigh the points made, apply the necessary, and throw out the unnecessary. Make yourself better with the good in it, and strengthen yourself even more by recognizing the untruth and letting it go. For it doesn’t apply to you. Remember, we are God’s masterpiece, we are not perfected yet. It’s a process. When we get there, it’s time to go home (Heaven). No one, still living on this earth, is ever above correction. It’s one reason why God values Humility.
18 If you ignore criticism, you will end in poverty and disgrace; if you accept correction, you will be honored.
Proverbs 13:18
