This proverbs seems like it comes straight out of Ecclesiastes. We all have limited time on earth. It’s until we have a grasp on eternity through salvation, that our priorities can be arranged in the right perspective. As Jack Butler said in the movie Mr. Mom, “It’s real easy to forget what’s important. So don’t”.
