Here is the reason why education here in America is failing: You can’t educate a fool. Yet we try and try, to the point of indoctrination; reciting facts and memorizing answers to test questions. This is not education. It’s conditioning people to be lazy, to not question things, to be unable to handle life. It doesn’t teach children how to learn for themselves. It breeds irresponsibility. Look at the college graduation rate. Learn from it. When will we realize that educating the masses will never work? It breeds apathy in those who have no heart for learning. Sure, no one wants to be called a fool, but those who fail to learn, rightfully earn the name.
