Here’s a proverb that is much needed in today’s society. The News organizations should put this into their code of conduct, as should we all. This truth is directly tied to the Golden rule: Love your neighbor as yourself. If we did, gossip probably wouldn’t exist, and we wouldn’t have those terrible tabloids at the checkouts in our grocery stores.
