God deals with people in His own timing, in His own justice. We just have to trust Him with it. We get into trouble, especially in our thinking, when we decide on what should be done. We step into the role of God when we do this, and cross the line into inappropriate behavior that God opposes. Then we wonder why this or that is happening. We need to take on the mindset of King David; one that does attack or abuse God’s anointed. Align your heart with God, and you’ll find yourself less and less, stepping into the role of Judge.
2 God says, “At the time I have planned,I will bring justice against the wicked.3 When the earth quakes and its people live in turmoil,I am the One who keeps its foundations firm.Interlude 4 “I warned the proud, ‘Stop your boasting!’I told the wicked, ‘Don’t raise your fists!5 Don’t raise your fists in defiance at the heavensor speak with such arrogance.’ ”6 For no one on earth–from east or west,or even from the wilderness–should raise a defiant fist.7 It is God alone who judges; He decides who will rise and who will fall.
Psalms 75:2-7
