There are so many things out there that I’m not sure of, but there’s one thing I’m certain of no matter what; establishing God’s name and honoring Him with all your heart is our purpose in life. It may come in many forms (the honoring part), like loving your neighbor, standing up for what is right, or merely acknowledging His name in front of people. In the end what God blesses, He blesses eternally. If you ever wonder what God’s will for your life is, and many do including me, just remember whatever the circumstance you are going through (or about to go through), honor Him in it. That is God’s will for you. The blessing will be eternal.
23 “And now, O Lord, I am Your servant; do as You have promised concerning me and my family. May it be a promise that will last forever. 24 And may Your name be established and honored forever so that everyone will say, ‘The Lord of Heaven’s Armies, the God of Israel, is Israel’s God!’ And may the house of Your servant David continue before You forever.
1 Chronicles 17:23-24
27 And now, it has pleased You to bless the house of Your servant, so that it will continue forever before You. For when You grant a blessing, O Lord, it is an eternal blessing!”
1 Chronicles 17:27
