When you get to the point in your life when you say, “I can’t, I’ve failed, I have no more to give”, that’s when your faith responds by deepening your trust in God. When there’s no answer, no hope of it getting better, then your faith opens the door. Its not magical, it just allows us to reach deep down inside to find strength and endure through it. It’s not our own doing, it’s God’s doing. If we can adopt (by asking God) a true, trusting attitude, we will whole-heartedly learn to walk by faith, and not by sight. Like Job, Abraham, Daniel’s three friends, and many others, when life throws us in turmoils, our faith is what gets us through. Of course it’s the Object in which we place our faith that makes the difference. And that of course is God, Himself.
4 I replied, “But my work seems so useless!I have spent my strength for nothing and to no purpose. Yet I leave it all in the Lord’s hand; I will trust God for my reward.”
Isaiah 49:4
