All religions have to deal with the Bible. They have to give an answer for it, to explain it to it’s own practitioners. An example of this would be the Hindu’s response to Hebrews 9:27. We all die once, not over and over, until we reach nirvana. Here in Isaiah chapter 53 we read of the prophecy of Jesus. It says He died without any descendants. That means he didn’t have children. The Mormon faith would argue some different meaning, but it’s crystal clear as to what it says. When we read the Bible, we have to be very careful to interpret correctly, avoiding the natural tendency to make it mean what suits our needs. We need to accept God’s word as it is, not for what we want it to be.
8 Unjustly condemned,He was led away. No one cared that He died without descendants, that His life was cut short in midstream. But He was struck down for the rebellion of My people.
Isaiah 53:8
