Paul says we will be rewarded in Heaven for all the witnessing we do here on earth. Here on earth we will be rewarded with pride and joy. What is this pride and joy? Converted believers because of our witness. Does this excite you? Does it motivate you to get out there and witness to someone? Why are why not? If you’re not witnessing to and discipling others on a consistent basis, maybe the “Good News” of the Gospel isn’t so good to you. Maybe the your love for people has grown cold.
After all, what gives us hope and joy, and what will be our proud reward and crown as we stand before our Lord Jesus when He returns? It is you! 20 Yes, you are our pride and joy.
1 Thessalonians 2:19-20
