When believers get confused, or down, and they lose focus, the one thing that must be brought back to mind is the simple concept of “doing good and running from evil”. If we hate evil and love what is good, it eliminates many options we have. This is what God wants from us. When you align your heart with His, you will limit your choices on what to do, and get refocused on what matters most, the essentials of life.
Do what is good and run from evil so that you may live! Then the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will be your helper, just as you have claimed.15 Hate evil and love what is good; turn your courts into true halls of justice. Perhaps even yet the Lord God of Heaven’s Armies will have mercy on the remnant of His people.
