Starting your day with God is essential. It’s like feeding your soul. When people allow themselves to get busy, and not spend time with God, they slowly begin to starve themselves spiritually. Starting off each morning with prayer and communion with God, sets the atmosphere and attitude of your day. When you make it a habit, you feed your soul, and are properly nourished. You can’t expect to be a faithful witness for Jesus when you purposely starve yourself. Make pursuing God a priority, like eating your 3 meals everyday. You can never get too much of God, so there’s never a need to diet.
3 Listen to my voice in the morning, Lord. Each morning I bring my requests to You and wait expectantly.
Psalms 5:3
