The next time you are feeling down and low in confidence, think of Moses when God told him to lead the Israelites to the Promised Land. Moses constantly complained, “I’m not good enough”, but God uses him anyway. Just goes to show us that God knows us better than we know ourselves. He knows our limits. He knows our capacity for stress. He knows how hard we can push ourselves. And most importantly, He knows the outcome before it happens. All the reason more why we should trust Him. God does choose us to fail, He chooses us to accomplish His will. That should be enough to reignite His Spirit inside you, to recharge your battery, to get back out there and live out the Gospel. Shouldn’t it?
28 When the Lord spoke to Moses in the land of Egypt, 29 He said to him, “I am the Lord! Tell Pharaoh, the king of Egypt, everything I am telling you.” 30 But Moses argued with the Lord, saying, “I can’t do it! I’m such a clumsy speaker! Why should Pharaoh listen to me?”
