The reason a Christian is to stand up and call sin evil, is because it’s his duty. When you know the truth it sets you free from the lies and deception of Satan. Also, when we call our sinful behavior, we won’t be guilty of being silent about it. God says He hates sin. So when we make known sinful behavior, we show we agree with Him and stand on His side. The first place we start this process is with ourselves. And when we see it in our society, we do it with gentleness and respect. But we still do it. God owns it all, and those that belong to Him, obey His commands to call evil evil, regardless of the cost. In sacrifice, true joy is found.
1 The Lord said to Moses, 2 “Give the people of Israel these instructions, which apply both to native Israelites and to the foreigners living in Israel.“If any of them offer their children as a sacrifice to Molech, they must be put to death. The people of the community must stone them to death. 3 I Myself will turn against them and cut them off from the community, because they have defiled My sanctuary and brought shame on My holy name by offering their children to Molech. 4 And if the people of the community ignore those who offer their children to Molech and refuse to execute them, 5 I Myself will turn against them and their families and will cut them off from the community. This will happen to all who commit spiritual prostitution by worshiping Molech.
