We all need to to learn that uncontrolled anger will always lead to harm. When we lose our temper, it will hurt others. And in the grand scheme of things, we will suffer the most from it. I know, I’ve been there. Righteous indignation, what they called Jesus’ anger, is solely reserved for God. It’s His prerogative. The only time it’s okay for us to be angry is when someone or something is violating God’s law at the expense of another, and calling it good. Anger then should be controlled and under the guidance of the Holy Spirit. That way it’s still “righteous indignation”, because it’s coming from God Himself.
8 Stop being angry! Turn from your rage!Do not lose your temper – it only leads to harm.
Psalms 37:8
