Denying God, Denies Peace….

People deny God, resist Bible believing followers, fight against those who stand for truth, all for what? These people want peace, they want equality, they want to feel significant, they want to be loved, yet they deny the very One Who grants all these needs. Zachariah, John the Baptist’s Father, was praising God at his son’s birth, and he states some profound truth: in order to find salvation, and be forgiven of our sins, being made available through God’s mercy, having the morning light break upon us, shedding light to those who sit in darkness, being able to find peace in the shadow of death; Jesus came into the world to save us. Never allow yourself to question to the point of acting on your doubt, what Jesus did for us on the cross. He is our only hope, and only remedy for our sin problem. Denying Him, only guarantees us no hope, no equality, no significance, no love, and no peace. For it is not until we recognize this truth and act on it, that life is truly lived. Anything else is just deception, like chasing the wind.

76 “And you, my little son, will be called the prophet of the Most High, because you will prepare the way for the Lord.77 You will tell His people how to find salvation through forgiveness of their sins.78 Because of God’s tender mercy, the morning light from heaven is about to break upon us,79 to give light to those who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, and to guide us to the path of peace.” 80 John grew up and became strong in spirit. And he lived in the wilderness until he began his public ministry to Israel. Luke 1:76-80
