When you tell the truth, you never have to worry about what you said. When investigators question suspects in crime scenes they ask the same questions, but they mix up the order. They will ask chronologically, reverse chronological order, then they will ask in a mixed up, random order. Why? Because liars have to always think, and make sure their lying flows in proper order. With any slip up, guilt follows. When people tell the truth, it doesn’t matter which order it goes in, no thinking, no anxiety of trying not to “screw up”, nothing. Simply restating facts is easy. The truth has a way of setting us free from the accusations of guilt. Criminals have to always be on their toes, to keep the lies going. Never forget this truth.
13 The wicked are trapped by their own words, but the godly escape such trouble.
Proverbs 12:13
