When Your Actions Back Up Your Words….

If there’s one thing I know in life, it’s this: ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. You can talk all day long, make promises every day, and say things to edify, but if your actions don’t back up your speech, your words mean nothing. Yes, words can hurt, and words can heal, but they will do more than confuse if they don’t match up with your behavior. Actions are proof your words are true. It’s like saying, “trust me”, when your actions back up your words. Truth will always be known. It may take time, to come to fruition among people, but it will be revealed. God knows everyone’s heart. He knows what’s on the inside. When you humble yourself, and obey His commands, living out your faith comes more naturally, than if you pretend to be someone you’re not. As the saying goes, “you can fool all people some of the time, and some people all the time, but you can’t fool all people all the time.” And you definitely can’t fool God at all. So the next time you hear your grandmother say, “if you don’t have something nice to say then don’t say anything at all”, remember, it’s even more important to speak with your actions than use words at all.
