God is always reminding us to be humble. Humility is necessary in serving God, that’s why the Bible tells us He resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. Whenever you find yourself stepping over the line of Pride, bake yourself a humble pie. If you don’t, you might find yourself being force fed by someone else; and their pies are much harder to swallow. Gratitude is the result of humbling yourself when seasons of pride usher themselves in.
3 They did not conquer the land with their swords; it was not their own strong arm that gave them victory. It was Your right hand and strong arm and the blinding light from Your face that helped them, for You loved them.
