The key to the life of faith in Jesus is clinging to Him daily, moment by moment. There’s just no other substitute for it. You can gain the entire world without Him, but you’ll forfeit your soul in the process. When that happens, what seems to be gain will be your greatest loss. Abiding in the vine, as Jesus said, brings life. Disconnecting with the source of life only guarantees one thing, an artificial reality. There’s no real peace and joy in that. Cling to God today. He will authenticate your reason for being here by setting you free from the lures of this world.
