In today’s world surrender is a four-letter Word. It’s a concept that most people don’t understand, and see in a negative way. Biblical surrender is necessary for salvation. In God’s economy “to give up” means to gain. Surrender means win, spiritually speaking. We are to surrender to God First. Until we do this, there will be no reward in Heaven, because we won’t be going there.
29 “Yes,” Jesus replied, “and I assure you that everyone who has given up house or wife or brothers or parents or children, for the sake of the Kingdom of God,30 will be repaid many times over in this life, and will have eternal life in the world to come.”
Luke 18:29-30
