When will people understand you can’t buy salvation. No amount of money can earn you the ability to live forever. There is no fountain of youth. God has determined the length of our days and the only thing we can do is live them out His way. Salvation is free and cannot be earned. That’s the beauty of the Gospel. It’s level ground at the foot of the cross. Their is no pride or prejudice there. It’s what the world longs for, fights for, and seeks to gain, but without Christ, it’s not attainable. And the best news is that it’s a free gift from God. The only thing we have to do is ask. For some, that costs them their pride. For others, those that never ask, it costs them everything.
6 They trust in their wealth and boast of great riches.7 Yet they cannot redeem themselves from death by paying a ransom to God.8 Redemption does not come so easily, for no one can ever pay enough 9 to live forever and never see the grave.
Psalms 49:6-9
