God knows everything. We know nothing compared to Him. When we try to figure things out, we must ask Him for wisdom, otherwise it will just frustrate us in our failed attempts. God has answers for everything He does. We may never know the “why” behind things when they happen, but we do know that we can trust the One behind the scenes running the show. Everything happens for reasons, and when we learn to trust God in His sovereignty, we accept the truth of the matter. And that truth is: God is trustworthy. He knows what He’s doing. He is worthy of our trust. His ways are the best ways. His ways are just. Peace, significance, and confidence can all be found in trusting God’s will. It’s that simple. We just need to get out of the way sometimes and hop on the train of faith, and allow it to take us where it wants us to go.
4 The Lord has made everything for His own purposes, even the wicked for a day of disaster.
Proverbs 16:4
