If you’ve ever questioned God’s justice, read Psalm 68. God fathers the fatherless. He defends widows. He places the lonely in families. Does this sound like a self-centered, power-seeking tyrant that you hear some describe God? These verses actually sound like a just judge doing his job. For those seeing Him as the former, get off the throne designed for God alone. You were never meant to sit in His seat. Maybe then your animosity towards God may be taken away with the wind. God is just, trust Him and you will see, until you do, you better get acclimated to your environment in a sun-scorched land.
5 Father to the fatherless, defender of widows–this is God, whose dwelling is holy.6 God places the lonely in families; He sets the prisoners free and gives them joy.But He makes the rebellious live in a sun-scorched land.
Psalms 68:5-6
