Our sinful nature guarantees this truth: people whose goal in life is to stir up trouble will have thicker skin on their back. Those who deny God, deny truth, and end up mocking it, end up being beaten down for it. Don’t be a fool, unless you like being beaten down. It’s the way the world works; sinful nature punishes foolishness, often times it’s part of the self-inflicted process, evil and stupidity go hand in hand. God’s Justice always prevails, even if He uses sinful humanity to carry it out.
29 Punishment is made for mockers, and the backs of fools are made to be beaten.
Proverbs 19:29
