For those who think that spanking is bad, here is a proverb that couldn’t be more clear about the effectiveness of physical discipline. When done right, there’s no more effective way of teaching a child to be respectful and honest, and to know right from wrong. If parents only had the courage to implement what the Bible teaches, disrespect and lack of authority in our society probably wouldn’t be an issue.
