God honors those that honor Him. He rewards those who do right. Integrity matters. When you walk in God’s ways, He rewards you. He doesn’t hold back in rewarding those who are faithful to Him. It’s a truth we need to focus more on, with the emphasis not on receiving the reward, but on pleasing God. That’s the secret of the Christian faith: pleasing God, knowing you’ll be rewarded when done with a humble heart. Easy to understand concept, but difficult to do. Selfless motives is where you start and finish. It’s not about you, yet it’s you that reaps the reward when done with the right heart.
11 For the Lord God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The Lord will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right.
