No matter how much the world changes, or our perception of it, we can count on one thing, and that is God is always true to His Word. We may not always understand, but we can always count on this truth. God will always love, be just, and be faithful to His Word. Once we accept this truth, it changes everything, especially our attitude and outlook on life. When we try to misapply His Word to our situation, we will always suffer the consequences. Instead of trying to justify ourselves, why not just accept His truth and act on it in faith. If God said it, that should settle it. In a world of ever changing people and attitudes, we need something we can lean on and trust to sustain us. God’s word does just that. If you’re looking for stability, look no further than God’s word, it’s a solid rock you can stand on to weather any storm that might come your way. “On this solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand.”
8 When he had proved himself faithful, You made a covenant with him to give him and his descendants the land of the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Jebusites, and Girgashites. And You have done what You promised, for You are always true to Your word.
Nehemiah 9:8
